Gay activists are incensed at this move, not because it targets them, but because it doesn’t. Indeed, there is no language in the bill stipulating anything one way or another in regards to gay people; it simply affirms the rights of private individuals and companies. Gay tyrants have only turned it into an “attack” on them because they demand, as per usual, special treatment and exemptions.
Despite everything they’ve ever claimed, they aren’t looking to be treated like everyone else. They want their rights enshrined in a special place, above, beyond, and transcending those of normal folk.

Well at least in Indiana Christians will no longer get bullied by an extremely small group of immoral individuals. Hopefully Maryland will pass the same type of law to protect their businesses in this fair manner.
That's the problem with these gays. They themselves make it easy for others to dislike them and are too stupid to even realize it. They want everyone to respect them but haven't the sense to realize this nation does respect one's religion and if it's against one's religion to do any action that supports the approval of the gay lifestyle then they shouldn't have to do it.
You hear these stories about someone refusing and then being forced to make gays a wedding cake. Only a complete and utter fool would not only give their money to someone who doesn't like them, but is then a complete ignoramus if they eat that cake.
Let's see how well that works, when an Islamist refuses to do business with gay people, because of his superstitions. Errrr...."religious beliefs".
As a Pastafarian, I don't care to do business with anyone who wishes me or my people harm. And my religion prevents me from entering a business transaction with stuttering dwarven leathermen, especially (His Noodly Goodness Forbid!!) ones with chronic psoriasis. Or people with ugly feet.

Under Obamacare, Muslims are not required to enroll because of their religious beliefs. This law is no different. The slime ball liberals can't have it both ways.
hopefully, gay business owners will stop selling to extreme right wing christian bigots, although I am not sure that will fit on their sign.
This is a classic overstep by Indiana or any other state that tries something as stupid and uniformed. First there are almost no businesses that discriminate like this and there are almost no people, gay or otherwise, that have been discriminated against. Indiana will have to suffer the natural outcome to a stupid law. Clear thinking businesses that don't discriminate against anything but the person’s ability to pay will certainly take their business elsewhere and leave Indiana behind. The economic consequences will be felt by everyone, and that is a true shame.
3:00 But it is ok for the State to require businesses to discriminate against smokers. Government oversteps all the time. I'm not prejudiced and I don't think discrimination is proper but I do believe that any private business should be allowed to do business with whom they choose.
It's not just Christians it's all religions that believe homosexuality to be a sin. People shouldn't have to compromise their beliefs under the threat of a lawsuit.
