Correct???? All day yesterday they called for 3-6 inches for Salisbury.! Yes they lowered it last night but only after they instilled panic in everyone!

3-6 inches instills panic? Get a grip, man.

Install panic @ 3", that's just a dusting. Snows every year people start getting used to it.

In this town? YES! Have you ever driven past a grocery store when there's snow in the forecast?

Honestly...taking into everything else the local TV stations say... Or more to the point, fail to say.., did you really expect an accurate forecast from these clowns.

Panic....? Last "sizable" snow we had, I personally saw two women In WalMart with boots and coats thrown on over their pajamas, in a physical altercation over bread...so yeah. Maybe a little.

7:28 during a hurricane I witnessed people's carts stuffed with perishables.
I laughed, have fun with that when the power goes out.
A jar of peanut butter and a cup of tea will do me fine in an emergency.

This area will never get used to "snow" Heck, they cancelled schools early on a threat of snow last year, it rained. To me personally, you're right, three inches is nothing, but judging by Walmart yesterday afternoon, lots of people were worried about the storm.
