Said “streets would run red with blood”
A Chicago man was arrested after he posted a message on Facebook saying he would kill police and white children.
Photos of white children accompanied the threat made by Aries Woodfin, a convicted felon. He was arrested on Friday after a woman in Alabama saw the post and contacted police.
Woodfin allegedly told police he was a “warrior” and the “streets would run red with blood.”
The incident follows the murder of NYPD officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu and a spike in black-on-white crime following the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown.
In early December, the Rev. Louis Farrakhan said Islam permits a “law for retaliation” and violence should be used following the Michael Brown and Eric Garner grand jury decisions.
