11:19, What do you mean, screw the Mayor. While Jim and I may have our political differences, (and lifestyles) I am NOT about to destroy one of the better things so many good people have worked so hard at to make such an incredible success. YOU should learn to give credit where credit is due.
Besides, what does SoBo's have to do with Jim Ireton?

I agree with 11:19 AM. Screw Jim Ireton.
Jim Ireton and Jake Day are taking advantage of the big crowd to promote their political agenda. They have snuck in their NYE pre-party to make it look like it is actually part of the event. They are trying to raise money for their liberal agenda and this is where it is wrong to force that party on the attendees. Their fundraiser during this City tax payer sponsored event is crooked and corrupt just like they are. If someone denies this is a tax payer funded event then tell me who is paying for all the public works employees to clean up the place and to set up the place. Who is paying for the police presence. Who is paying for the fire department presence.
Jim Ireton and Jake day are forcing this event on us through email and social media. My email and many others were harvested through the City of Salisbury email data base and this is the truth. Their evite was sent to my email and I ignored it. Then I got more evites saying I forgot to respond to the original evite. Jim Ireton and Jake Day are harassing us with those evite emails. Their pre-Ball Drop party is corrupt and possibly unethical.
