The Antares rocket will carry Orbital’s Cygnus cargo spacecraft, loaded with some 5,000 pounds of supplies and experiments, to the International Space Station.

Public viewing of the launch will be available at the NASA Visitor Center at Wallops and at the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge/Assateague Island National Seashore. Visitors are reminded that alcohol and pets are not allowed on the Visitor Center grounds.

I have a hard time believing what NASA says anymore. They're under the CIA's thumb and always have been, BTW. Far too many former employees have come forward and exposed what really goes on within the confines of the agency.
Yes, I was really perked for this launch. Had my lawn chair out, a cup of coffee and my binoculars ready. Not so tomorrow.., to hell with that flippin' rocket. In fact, I hope it blows up on the pad.
I think 10:45 was correct saying "Postponed" vs "Weather permitting" It was a beautiful evening and I waited with anticipation. Then I learned that a boat was in the launch area. Too bad, maybe tomorrow night.
They have had to postpone numberous launches because of boats. Something should be done. The boats are warned to either go out before or after but they don't care. I think some do it on purpose to get some sick pleasure from it. I know one of the last launches it took them 4 tries and each time was because of boaters.
I'm sure that NASA/CIA has a gunboat that'll cure this.
Boaters have been warned, let them sit in the debris field and suck up whatever falls on them in the event of explosion!
The boat was 40 miles away! The Salisbury airport is only 24 miles away from the Wallops airport. Are we in this B§ hazard area? The rocket to my understanding is supposed to be traveling up, the airspace reserved for this launch is R6604, no additional Temporary Flight Restrictions were activated beyond R6604. I think they blamed the launch on a boat that was beyond anyone's ability to see or detect in order to announce their preplanned launch delay.
