Rivers, 81, had checked in for a routine throat procedure at the Yorkville Endoscopy clinic in Manhattan on August 28, when her condition took a shocking turn for the worse.
First the clinic's medical director Dr. Lawrence Cohen carried out a scheduled endoscopy.
The procedure was intended to help diagnose her hoarse voice and sore throat and it involved the insertion of a camera down her throat.
After Cohen had finished his work, a biopsy was allegedly done on Rivers without her prior consent.

This has conspiracy written all over it.Joan pissed off the wrong person.
Like Michael Jackson's doctor, you can't kill the goose that lays the golden egg. Joan River's doctor's career is so over. Whether he ends up in jail like Michael's doctor remains to be seen. At the very least, Joan's daughter will make him pay for the rest of his life. He has never earned, or will ever earn, enough to compensate the River's family for the lost income and value of Joan River's life. And yes, like Michael Jackson, her life is worth much, much more than your's and mine.
