Today's Wildlife Photos
It's amazing being in West Ocean City and experiencing such wildlife on a daily basis. Last night a Fox came within 10 feet of us and nothing spooked him/her off. The Cat bowl is right off our front porch and even with the flash going off several times trying to get a decent picture it comfortably stood there and had its share of food. Here kitty, kitty. LOL

That's beautiful. At least it isn't another Falcon in a tree.
We did as well 11:08 but a few months ago w/a raccoon. I see foxes, possums, ground hogs and raccoons quite often where I live but one animal I've not ever seen alive. just roaming around is a skunk. Smelled plenty dead on the roadside though.
Be careful of rabies like mentioned. It would be living hell for whoever that has to go through it. I know several people that were attacked by foxes and they didn't see it coming.
Also it could spread diseases through use of the cat bowl.
Your values are in conflict. You obviously enjoy viewing wildlife, but you are feeding outside cats. Free roaming cats are responsible for millions of wildlife and birds kills a year in this country. Time to rethink the feeding practice, and give all the wild critters a fair chance.
The media sure has the public scared to death about rabies…..every animal must be sick if you see it . Having lived in the country on several hundred acres, farmed, hunted and fished all of it and I have only seen two sick animals in 40+ years. You are more likely to be a victim of crime in OC or Salisbury than contracting rabies.
3:29. I've seen 1 rabid animal in all my years living in the country. However I've seen thousands of bats. I don't know how to tell if their a carrier.

Fantastic shots wish I still lived in the country. Thank you for sharing.
Be careful of rabies , we had an incident a few weeks ago.

You are correct 3:29 but liberals like to scare people for no good reason.

Fox looks healthy and well fed to me but if that's Cat's bowl, Dog must eat out of a 5 gallon bucket!
I have 2 farm geese and they chase the foxes away. The deer too. Even my 150+ lb dog is afraid of the geese.
