THANK A VET!
Joe Bell, a 95 yr old WWII vet sat in front of his home cheer on the runners ... Then the runners began to stop and thank him for his service!

I was taught very early on to always thank a vet. You see a hat/car sticker, you make the time to thank them. A lot of time, the vet is completely caught off guard and very appreciative. My Dad told us when we were little and he returned home for Vietnam, that the little thank you mean the most. Now my children are starting to do it.
