Incident: Most Wanted Apprehension
Date of Incident: 4 July 2014
Location: Suffolk County, New York
Suspect: John Oratio Simpson, 27, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 4 July 2014 a wanted fugitive, John Oratio Simpson, was extradited back to Wicomico County following his apprehension in Suffolk County, NY.  Simpson had been wanted in Wicomico County on a Circuit Court Bench Warrant that had been issued back in March 2012 in a case where Simpson had been charged with Armed Carjacking.Simpson had previously been featured as one of Wicomico County’s Most Wanted.  Simpson was detained without bond in the Detention Center.





Incident: Burglary Arrest
Date of Incident: 8 July 2014
Location: 11000 block of Riverton Road, Mardela Springs, MD
Suspect: Christopher Michael Wolcott, 24, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 8 July 2014 a deputy arrested Christopher Wolcott in connection with a burglary that occurred in 2011 in the 11000 block of Riverton Road in Mardela Springs. During the investigation of this crime, a deputy recovered what would be identified as dried blood from the broken glass where entry was made into the building.  Copper wire and pipes were removed from the building during this incident.  On 7 July 2014 that blood collected from the crime scene was identified through DNA matching as coming from Christopher Michael Wolcott.  The investigating deputy applied for and obtained a warrant for Wolcott’s arrest. Following his apprehension and initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Wolcott in the Detention Center on a bond of $15,000.00. A District Court judge raised Wolcott’s bond the following day to $25,000.00 at bond review.
Charges:Burglary 1st Degree, Theft and Malicious Destruction of Property





Incident: Fugitive Arrest
Date of Incident: 10 July 2014
Location: 1000 block of McGrath Road, Eden, MD
Suspect: Howard William Jarrett, Jr.,25, Eden, MD
Narrative: On 10 July 2014 a deputy arrested located and arrested a wanted fugitive, Howard Jarrett, at an address in the 1000 block of McGrath Road in Eden. Jarrett was wanted on a Circuit Court Bench Warrant that was issued after he violated the terms of his probation in a felony theft case.  Upon arrest Jarrett was transported to the Detention Center where he was detained without bond.

Incident: Attempted Murder
Date of Incident: 11 July 2014
Location: 1000 block of Beaglin Park Drive, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: William Kyle Donophan, 23, Delmar, DE
Narrative: On 11 July 2014 at 1:42 AM, a deputy responded to an apartment complex in the 1000 block of Beaglin Park Drive in Salisbury for a reported assault in progress. Reports had come into the Sheriff’s Office of a male subject beating a female who was on the ground. Upon the arrival of the deputy he observed a subject later identified as William Donophan standing over a female who was not moving. Upon realizing that a deputy had just arrived, Donophan attempted to walk away and hide. Upon the deputy engaging Donophan, he began to flee the area on foot. The deputy chased Donophan through the complex, across Beaglin Park Drive and onto the property of Parkside High School where the deputy caught up to and detained Donophan.  The victim was unconscious and suffering from trauma to her head. An ambulance transported the victim to PRMC.  During the investigation,it was determined that Donophan struck and kicked the victim repeatedly in thehead to the point where she collapsed and loss consciousness. It was also discovered that Donophan was the victim’s boyfriend.  Donophan was transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Donophan in the Detention Center in lieu of $250,000.00 bond.
Charges:Attempted Murder, Assault 1st Degree, Reckless Endangerment and Resist Arrest





Incident: Assault
Date of Incident: 11 July 2014
Location: 200 block of Harford Road, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Bruce Wayne Singleton Jr., 31, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 11 July 2014 at 4:26 AM, a deputy responded to PRMC to meet with the victim of an assault. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that the victim had been involved in an altercation with her husband that escalated to an assault. The deputy learned that the altercation began when Bruce Singleton left his wife at an establishment to walk home following an argument. According to the victim, upon reaching her residence, she was confronted by her husband who reportedly grabbed her by the throat and threw heron the floor. According to the victim, her husband continued to grab her by the throat while repeatedly banging her head into the floor.  The victim managed to summons help after Singleton released her which brought her to PRMC for treatment of lacerations to the head.  Singleton was placed under arrest and transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Singleton in the Detention Center in lieu of $150,000.00 bond.
Charges:Assault 1st Degree and Reckless Endangerment

William Kyle Donopnan learned at an early age how to abuse women as that's what his father is known for. I am sure there is more to the story as since he kept trashy friends as well. No one deserved what she got I hope she is feeling better...Like father like son....
