A Viewer Writes: WBOC blocking WJZ Comcast
Xfinity/Comcast is now catering to WBOC, they have blocked Don & Marty's WJZ Baltimore news on Comcast Channel 13. It says "As required by Federal Regulation, Comcast is obligated to black out duplicative CBS Network programming on this channel. Please be advised that CBS Network Programming is available on WBOC" Don and Marty are not duplicative programming airing at 5am to 7am and WBOC has blocked are access to Baltimore news to try and force us to watch WBOC local news. Talk about limited choices.

Actually that is not the case. The FCC allows local stations to block competition. WMDT channel 7 blocked WMAR TV 2 years ago.
who watches wboc anymore?they are about the same class as the daily times. worthless. and how about that anchor? lol
you can watch it all you want, but I will not waste my time. Joe has the same stories, usually first with them. And Joe gets comments up faster so we can have some sort of a conversation close to real time.
Maybe if WBOC put out a quality signal, they wouldn't need to worry about this issue.

You haven't don your homework before mouthing off
It says when the content is block it is requested by WBOC. WJZ airing their own local news has nothing to do with CBS. WBOC blocks WJZ's news in the morning when it is just WJZ with DOn & Marty's show. WBOC & Comcast are to blame.
well, I hate comcast, xfinity & wboc. occasionally I do like to watch Don & Marty for metropolitan news. Now I will NOT be watching wboc in their place. I care more about baltimore than I do dover.
