A Viewer Writes: Old Long John Silvers building new restaurant
Not sure if you had heard, but I've seen ads for a southern restaurant chain called cookout ( http://www.cookoutnc.com) hiring here in Salisbury and apparently they bought the old LJS building across from SU. Probably more of the same chain wise but at least its different.

Funny on the way into work this morning I was listening to a radio interview with country star Scotty McCreery he mentioned Cookout was where he and friends had just eaten in the wee hours of the morning before the infamous armed robbery in the apartment he was at. He had this to say about cookout "You can order wraps and corn dogs or nuggets as a side, its a lot of food and really cheap. The college kids love it" I thought that sounded really good, unhealthy and perfect for a college crowd, now I read this post. If that's the kind of place it is then the location near campus might be a good spot.
Let's start a pool to see how long it takes for the place to get robbed or someone shot in the parking lot. Websites says they are open until 4:30 am on weekends. Drunk kids walking around late at night to get greasy food sound like easy targets for the local thugs.
