Forecasters Predict Slow Atlantic Hurricane Season

NEW YORK (WJZAP) –Slower than normal. That’s the word from federal forecasters about this year’s hurricane season.

Meteorologist Tim Williams has more on this report.

That’s right, forecasters are predicting fewer hurricanes in the Atlantic this season, but they stress it only takes one major storm to do a lot of damage.

Experts from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predict the six-month hurricane season beginning June 1 will be near or below normal.

They should consulted the El Nino people, who are saying this year is "looking a lot like 1997"! Copy and paste that to youtube!

Oh, and the sky is falling and the sea level is rising, but only in Maryland. Somehow Delaware and Virginia will be spared.

If your head is not exploding over this, you are dead!

Well, one thing is for sure and set in place for the beginning of the season...somebody will turn out to be right! And the rest will keep their jobs through next year...

Damn, I'm in the wrong business....

Never a clear path.Always a trade off of some sort, which in this case is the trade of hurricanes for tornados. The environment will always release it's fury somehow.
