The dispute over tax credits between the State of Maryland and the producers of the Netflix drama "House of Cards" is apparently over, as Governor Martin O'Malley, and the show's producers have announced the show will produce its third season in Maryland.
O'Malley and Media Rights Capital co-CEO Asif Satchu made the announcements in a news release issued Friday evening.
“Spoiler alert: we’re going to keep the 3700 jobs and more than 100 million dollars of economic activity and investment that House of Cards generates right here in Maryland,” Governor O’Malley said in the news release. “Media Rights Capital has been a great supporter of the people and entertainment community in Maryland and we couldn't be happier to continue our partnership.”

WOW..This state is broke and higher taxes / fee's and other issues with stealing our money to fund this broke a@#! state and here we are giving away how much of our money and for a show most of us does not even watch and or afford to pay for the service to watch it if we wanted to ??? MAKES u wonder ???
Want property values to go up? End the state tax, and sales tax and people will be looking to move and invest here, can't get that thru the thick skulls of some of those chimps in Annapolis and Wicomico/Salisbury! If property values rise significantly that alone will generate a nice chunk of revenue.
Slumlords don't want property values to rise too much, they feed on the misery of people in poverty. Just like Walmart feeds on people with EBT cards, the slumlords continue to rape taxpayers with government subsidies for their crap homes.
More welfare for the wealthy!
How much is Hollywood going to give to O'Malley's campaign for president?
You nailed it 8:56PM
