FDA To Regulate "E-Cigs"

The Food and Drug administration will soon decide how it plans to regulate the rapidly growing industry of popular electronic cigarette devices known as "E-Cigs." The device uses nicotine infused vapor that looks like smoke but doesn't have the chemicals or tar. The FDA has a difficult task ahead. Some call the new devices "the first disruptive technology" toward getting rid of cigarette use, and others worry that they are just another gateway to getting children hooked on nicotine. Public health groups say the marketing campaigns and amount of candy-like flavors target young people, and urge the FDA to quickly set standards.

Here we go! More government interference in the private lives of the 'free' American citizen. There is no definitive science on how it damages the human body or not. I will throw the alcohol issue out there, we know what this does but the only control is a min age! other than that go ahead and drink yourself to death!

And yet they have aproved alcohol powder. Haha, now you don't even have to drink that nasty tasting drink. Just sprinkle some in your apple souce or someone else's food and just then wait for the effect so you can take advantage of them.. (sarcasm here)

Translation: The FDA is looking to make the state some money through taxation...It's for the children my butt hole.

After smoking for 45 years, I switched to the E-cig 2 years ago. It acts as a pacifier and harms no one. If vapor is the issue than leaning over a pot of boiling water should be regulated as well.
