Debate over a bill aimed at halting development of an Eastern Shore wind farm heated up in Annapolis Tuesday, with Maryland farmers protesting the pending legislation.
Environmental leaders also sent a letter to the Maryland Senate, asking lawmakers to kill House Bill 1168.
“If passed, it would effectively shut down an emerging $1 billion wind industry on the Eastern Shore,” read the letter, signed by 15 environmental groups.

Lots of wind blowing in Annapolis when they are in session.
MO'M doesn't want any cheap competition for his expensive offshore project.
Where is the billion dollars? Where is the 200 million? Oh, yes its coming from the taxpayers to the pro wind lobby, and the environmental groups. Scam pure and simple with the taxpayer holding the bag. Talk reality here, what is the return on the investment here? Total shit heads in the Gov, and paid for by those who spend money to get money.
These windmills are BS They only make our energy bills and taxes higher and yes they kill birds.
