Obama: Democrats 'get clobbered' in midterm elections

At a fundraiser for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, President Obama admitted that his party performs poorly inmidterm elections.

"[I]n midterms we get clobbered — either because we don’t think it’s important or we’ve become so discouraged about what’s happening in Washington that we think it’s not worth our while," he said Thursday evening.

Obama pointed out that more young people, women, blacks, and Hispanics voted in presidential elections, which was "a more representative cross-section of America."

Florida is so Democrat I had to register as one just to be able to vote in the primaries! There would be one GOP candidate and 5 Dems. I would vote for the weakest Dem to run against the lone Republican candidate, Then vote for the GOP in the Nationals, but the Dems always won anyway!

This loss is a HUGE signal to the Democrat Party.

Trust me.Just like March they'll come roaring out like a lion, trying to make perfect sense out of the hideous mess they've made.As hard as it is to fathom, the elections will actually be close. We'll hear plenty of that "most important election in history" crap like we did the last time, but this time Republicans will prevail.
