and this is exactly why we need a third party . the Democrats don't care the Republicans don't care.The only hope be fine men and women have is the Tea Party or a third party.
You vets had better keep your guns. The new revolution is right around the corner and your country will be needing your expertise again.
This is nothing new. A veteran has to meet a higher standard than the average person to be declared incompetent. Also if your rated 100% for a mental illness, you can't own a firearm too. This was signed into law by President Clinton. Believe it or not, this is fair. The last thing the VA and American people want to hear is the Veteran went on a shooting rampage. Then the cry will come for all veterans to lose their ability to own guns. You and I know the knee-jerk reaction people have when the media over hypes a shooting. There is a saying: "an ounce of protections is worth a pound of cure"! Let us not over react here. Know how the systems works before you complain about the system. I'm a former state service officer, one really has to be messed up to have this happen to them. If the veteran has children or a wife, ownership can be transferred to them and he will keep the weapons.
just another way to disarm the citizens...duh.
