President Obama spent Christmas afternoon speaking to more than 500 servicemen and their families gathered in a dining facility at Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe Bay, a quick drive from the Obama's vacation home in Kailua.
Obama, with Michelle, at his side, thanked the military families for the sacrifices they have made to keep the nation secure. The audience assembled in the dining hall was made up mainly up Marines but the event also was open to Army, Navy and Air Force families.
The president said he knows “a lot of our friends and comrades” are raising their families here while others are serving in Afghanistan and other far-flung places.

Let me guess he gave them the middle finger and spewed hate against them killing Muslim terrorists?
I would be insulted at any compliment that man gave me.
Yea, right, maybe one day out of the year but tomorrow he will ask them to kiss (his know what). Cause he feels he is the best thing since God the oh Mighty. Oh, wait he doesn't believe in God. So what dose it mean, to me nothing. map
He didn't have to put much effort into it since he was in Hawaii vacationing and ordered the military to the base for this BS while they could have been spending Christmas day with their families.
