Bill Would Ban Non-Biodegradable Cigarette Butts

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Del. Jon Cardin says he will introduce a measure to ban the sale of non-biodegradable cigarette butts in Maryland.

Cardin said Thursday the legislation will call for starting the ban in 2015.

He says the measure would include a fine of up to $200 a pack for a business selling non-biodegradable cigarettes. The bill also would give the attorney general the authority to enforce the law through civil legal actions.

Where in the hell do these GD liberal idiots dream up this dung?
Idiot after idiot after idiot sponsoring BS bills that amount to nothing. If he wants to clean MD waterways he can start with those outhouses of filth, Baltimore, Annapolis and Wash,DC. Their pollution far, far exceeds GD cigarette butts.

Bloomberg in NY wants to ban the e-cigarettes, those are the pen type cigarettes that when you exhale it's only water vapor, not smoke.

American ingenuity invents a smokeless cigarette and some dork like Bloomberg wants to ban it.
