Its Not Always What You Think It Is! UPDATE

Just because there's an image in front of Roadie Joe's on the Downtown Plaza doesn't mean it is what it is.

Did you know that Roadie Joe's and MoJo's sound alike? Oh, it gets better. Did you know they BOTH have the same address on Main Street, except one of EAST Main Street and the other is WEST Main Street.

Quite often the two get confused and that is exactly what happened Saturday night. While some of you tried to take the opportunity to TRASH Roadie Joe's and accuse me of covering things up there, YOU were wrong.

Owner Jeremy Norton Updates Us On What Actually Happened...

jeremy norton has left a new comment on your post "Its Not Always What You Think It Is!":

Hey All, This is Jeremy Norton, owner of Roadie Joe's in Downtown Salisbury. In reference to the incident that happened saturday night, there was an apparent large group of individuals who got in an altercation at the beginning of the plaza in between Roadie Joe's and Mojos (213 w main st and 213 e main st) Roadie Joe's is a bar that is open until 2am, while this doesn't typically create any issues, occasionally there are individuals or groups of individuals who get out of line especially after consuming alcohol. We at Roadie Joe's do our best to contain situations within our establishment, however... like every bar in the world- things happen and police will be called.The people involved in this particular instance were never at Roadie Joe's nor Mojo's to my knowledge.We want to thank the
Salisbury Police Dept.,Wicomico County Sheriffs Dept. and Maryland State Police for a very quick response time and handling the situation to the best of their abilities.

So I guess if that area was a cornfield in the middle of nowhere this incident would have still occurred 12:25?

2:22 whats your point.
drunken fights go on all the time, everywhere.
private parties, campsites, trailer parks
so if you have some drunk feuding farmers in a corn field, I guess it could.

I bet there were alot of drunken fights in a corn field in the middle of nowhere this weekend. It was called Punkin Chunkin!

I remember a couple of years ago there was a big fight with a bunch of drunken fireman at the Pittsville Fire Department. Even firemen get drunk and fight. Heck I remember the same bunch of drunk fireman got into a fight at one of their functions at the Salisbury Elks Lodge.

If they do that subsidized housing that Ireton, Fake Day, Laura Mitchell and Shields want to have downtown, there will be incidents like this every night.

Where there is a bar, there will be calls for service. It is what it is, and a hundred years from now, it will still be the same.

So, what's in the news today?
