‘Little Lion’ Kid Soldier Is His Rebel Dad’s Pride

He’s the same age — 11 — as Bashar al-Assad’s US-taunting son. But Mohammed Afar has an AK-47 — and he wants to kill the Syrian dictator with it.

Little Mohammed totes an assault rifle nearly as long as he is tall, and wears a jacket with the badges of the Free Syrian Army, the US-backed rebel group.

The schoolboy, from the anti-Assad northern stronghold of Aleppo, wants to remain in the FSA until the regime is crushed.

“I want to stay as a fighter until Bashar is killed,” he told Vice.com.

The tot’s beaming father, Mohammed Saleh Afar, is proud of his boy’s marksmanship.
