Most small business owners started up without any gov't program or class.

I'd love to hear a statistical analysis of how effective such a program is ...

The first thing to do if you want to start your own business is do it in DELAWARE! Don't make the mistake I did and stay in Maryland!

This is another reason that unemployment numbers appear down b/c many people are unable to find anything and turn to their own resources and open a small business.

Unemployment numbers are taken from the Unemployment office. Unemployment pays up to 99 weeks, or 2 years. This depression is now over 5 years old! No way the unemployment numbers mean anything now.

Also, the jobs numbers used to reflect 40 hour workers at full pay, not 2 minimum wage 29 hour jobs.

But, Marty has trouble with the truth.
