A Severna Park manufacturing company has laid off 70 percent of its workforce after a bank started foreclosure proceedings on the company’s properties.
Dynasplint Systems Inc., off Ritchie Highway, laid off more than 500 employees worldwide Tuesday, including 270 in Severna Park and another 50 positions at its Eastern Shore manufacturing plant.
For more than 30 years, the company — founded by Severna Park resident George Hepburn — has designed and created splints for physical therapy rehabilitation.

Hope and Change. Too bad no one bothered to find out just what that man meant by it.
12:42 are you really trying to blame this on Obama – come on – this company has been accused of Medicare Fraud to the tune of $100 million. Of course I feel terrible about the employees at this company, but many of them have brought this fraud to the attention of the president and vice president of Dynasplint for years! In fact the whistleblower in this case is a former employee – all you need to do is type Dynasplint into your search engine and read about this company. I’m not a bleeding liberal but lets be fair about this! This a shady company !
Obamacare coming to your hometown soon.
Hey guys hows that hope and change working out for you.
So I guess we will just let companies rip off Medicare as oppose to Obamacare
