O'Malley Establishes Transportation Task Force

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Gov. Martin O'Malley has named 11 people to serve on a task force that will look for new and different ways to fund local and regional transportation projects.

The governor's former chief of staff, Matthew Gallagher, will chair the Local and Regional Transportation Funding Task Force. Gallagher is president of the Goldseker Foundation, a Baltimore grant-making group.

The task force also includes Transportation Secretary Jim Smith; four state lawmakers; and local officials from Howard and Wicomico counties and the cities of Baltimore, Frederick and College Park.

Here we go again! He just finished raising taxes to fund all of this. Has he spent all of that already to the point he needs a task force so soon to figure out how to fund it again?

What an amazing man!
