Eric Holder Announces Justice Dept. Is Suing Texas Over Voter ID Law

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Justice Department said Thursday it will sue Texas over the state’s voter ID law and will seek to intervene in a lawsuit over the state’s redistricting laws.

Attorney General Eric Holder said the action marks another step in the effort to protect voting rights of all eligible Americans. He said the government will not allow a recent Supreme Court decision to be interpreted as open season for states to pursue measures that suppress voting rights.

On June 25, the Supreme Court threw out the most powerful part of the Voting Rights Act, whose enactment in 1965 marked a major turning point in black Americans’ struggle for equal rights and political power.

What do you expect from a Communist oppressor?

He is scum..I would just write your head line, with the words "still scum" underneath. What ever he does is icky and likely illegal. Why promote such a....well... ignorant nasty, ohhhh...trifling (ebonics) person he is.

Obama and his ilk are bent on destroying America.
Eric Holder is but a pawn in the game.
I will be glad to see the break up of these United States. I will be moving to Texas to help purge all the Socialists and Communists.

So, let me get this straight. Obama and holder do not have to comply with decisions handed down by the Supreme Court? So, why do we need the Supreme Court, when those two are above the law. North Carolina will be next. These States must stand their ground and the rest of need to support them.

You have to have an ID to rent a BEACH UMBRELLA in Ocean City, but not to vote. You need an ID to buy alcohol, cigarettes, cash a check, get into certain rated movies (if they check!), get on an airplane, and dozens of other scenarios. But dare show you are a citizen of this country or show you are who you say you are to vote...no way! Voter fraud is rampant...a friend of my husband said that his dead mother has voted in the past several elections in South Carolina. Obviously whoever is pretending to be her is not asked for ID.

I feel the same way about Maryland's B.S. law about not being able to protect my family with my constitutional right. So why doesn't Eric fight that law?

Sham, and a shame on the country. Holder is a joke, and this is just more wasteful spending. Knowing the dems can't win, if they require proff of "who you are", they have to attack that.
