15 Signs You May Have Adult ADHD

About 4 percent of adults have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and many others have never been diagnosed. (About half of kids with ADHD still have it in adulthood.)

A diagnosis can be important. Adults with ADHD tend to have lower incomes as well as higher rates of accidents, unplanned pregnancies, and substance abuse than those without it, says Martin W. Wetzel, MD, an assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, in Omaha.

This is nothing more than an excuse for bad and irresponsible behavior. Everyone has 'ADHD' and it's a matter of priorities. A child who supposedly has 'ADHD' needs strong parents who are consistent and who also realize children can not be expected to sit in front of a TV for hours on end. They need outdoor time to run around and expel energy.
As far as an adult with 'ADHD' it's a matter of maturity and not always doing what you want to do but what needs to be done to make yourself a good self sufficient productive citizen.
ADD and ADHD are nothing more than a way to sell drugs and a way to label a child so to modify test scores. Don't buy into it's existence, parents.
