NEW DATA SHOWS RAHM'S CHICAGO MURDER RATE SPIKES

Since early May, the Chicago murder rate for2013 has nearly matched that of 2012’s bloodbath; for those living among the south and west side war zones, the numbers are not getting better.

The most recent Chicago Crime Statistics Portal shows the murder rate dating back 28 days from July 14, 2013 has surpassed that of 2012 by four percent, with 51 total murders.

While overall shooting incidents are reportedly declining, the number of murders has slowly but steadily been on the rise over the past two and a half months.

Way to go with those tough gun control laws...dumb a** liberal policies!

I think it has less to do with liberal gun laws and more to do with poor social factors.

Look at NYC, 8 million people and less murders than Baltimore. Yet they also have one of these "liberal gun policies".

Another liberal idiot heard from. Prove your statistics Bozo. Prove the differences in those "liberal gun policies."

You also forgot to mention that NYPD is one of the best equipped police departments in the world.

If you read my entire comment you would understand what I was getting at.

I'm saying that liberal gun policies don't appear to have anything to do with gun violence in cities either way. So commenting on them is pointless.

Correlation does not necessarily equal causation. This is important to remember.

8:58 AM in this case correlation does equal causation. Quit sugar coating the facts.

I am sure if you had to live amongst them you would feel differently about it.
