Looks like parents are trying to make a point, and are tryiing in their own way to teach values.
Children will BECOME what you tell them they ARE. How sad. Is there nothing in this poor childs life that they could have taken away...like a video game...or activity to drive home the point? That would take time and effort on their part...this was just easy. It is hard being a GOOD parent.
Look for the smiling faces.
