Wicomico Board Of Education Approves FY 2014 Consolidated Current Expense Budget

The Wicomico County Board of Education at a special meeting on Tuesday, June 25, approved the Fiscal Year 2014 Consolidated Current Expense Budget for the budget year beginning July 1.

The Board of Education approved the Consolidated Current Expense Budget of $177.6 million, an increase of about $2.1 million over the previous year's budget. The unrestricted portion of the school system's budget used for general operations is nearly $164.9 million, a budget level that is 1.49% more than last year.
