Defense attorney Mark O'Mara asked that the witnesses be allowed to testify out of the public eye because of concerns for their safety about testifying at the trial, which starts next week. He said their testimony could impact the jury's decision.
Prosecutors and attorneys for media groups objected to the request.

It's a shame that witnesses' for the defense are fearful. It is a sad fact and we saw it with Rodney King. A segment of the population has never evolved into civilized human beings. This is the segment that is completely 100% responsible for discrimination and racism. Until they wise up and act like civilized people decent people will continue to look down on them and not trust them.
