I have been running Salisbury News for almost 9 years now. It never ceases to amaze me just how many comments come in demanding everyone take back their country and or communities.
I think we've all seen just how local and even federal elections are run. How many of us stood around and said, I didn't vote for Obama, yet he got elected. You can call friends and relatives and they'll pretty much tell you the same.
We watch, (little by little) our President talk about taking away our guns and then the democrats come out and say, that's just not true. Obama isn't trying to take your guns. Then we see unfortunate disasters and all of a sudden it's OK for Obama to attempt to create laws to take away our guns.
What most of you have truly been missing is how Obama is doing even worse. He's been buying up ammunition in such masses that the regular citizen not only can't find it, now they can't afford it when they do find it somewhere.
A few weeks ago I met with my former In Laws. They happen to own one of the largest ammunition distributorships in the United States. It turns out even they can't get their hands on ammunition any longer and they have quite a customer base.
The Mayor of Salisbury wants to increase your taxes to pay for a pie in the sky Rain Tax, yet every other municipality on the Eastern Shore told O'Malley to go pound sand. I think we've ALL seen what the cleaning of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation has delivered, a big fat ZERO. It's a game to claim that funding will deliver a positive change, yet it's impossible. Until we stop the pollution from other states feeding into our tributaries, nothing is going to get cleaned, nor will the Wicomico River. Yet we remain stupid, we continue to pay into these scams and guess what, NO ONE is taking back our communities, our state or our Country.
We watch the news in other Countries where voter fraud is abundant. So I ask you, why are Americans so blind? Why do Americans say it's time to take back our Country, then allegedly do nothing. When I see comments calling people sheeple, it's true.
The ONLY real MEN this Country has ever seen are in HISTORY BOOKS. Oh, that's right, they don't teach HISTORY in Schools any more. Back in the day, real men fought for what is right. Now we allegedly elect people into Office we're supposed to believe are doing what is in the best interest of our Country. You and I both know that is no longer true.
America is no longer the Country our founding fathers fought and died for. America is now all about survival, not the land of the free.
Perhaps we should change "Take Back Our Country" to "Yes Sir, May I Have Another".

Americans are boiling frogs and they don't even realize it!
Why rock the boat when you can sit back and get a fat check from the state for doing nothing.
No progress will be made till that free money runs out.

I am a frequent contributor to SBYnews and I have also witnessed the same. We post job closings, industry exodus, and yet the people keep electing politicians to office that thwart economic development.
Our country experiences an incident in Bengazi whereby 5 americans are killed - and yet the administration initiates a cover-up. They make-up 10 lies to try and cover-up their main lie to the american public. Yet - the public elects this man and puts his administration back into office.
We have a Governor who claims to be a democrate - and yet he inflicts more and more taxes that effect the poor and middle class. Still - people elect him to office. I can go on and on - but the fact of the matter is our nation has lost its grounding. Sad - but true. Now - it is everyman for himself. Truly, we are now a nation that has no compass.
