911 Center Safety Open House

Location: Sussex County Emergency Operations Center, 21911 Rudder Lane, Georgetown, DE

Date of Occurrence: Thursday May 9, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Georgetown, DE- Delaware State Police Sussex Communication Section along with the Fire and Ambulance Callboard of Sussex County will be hosting their 12th Annual 911 Open House Thursday May 9, 2013. The Open House will take place at the Sussex County Emergency Operations Center located at 21911 Rudder Lane, Georgetown Delaware. The safety event will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Approximately 500 children from the local school districts are expected to visit the 911 center on this day. They will be given a tour of the 911 center and students will learn important safety tips on How and When to contact 911.

To promote public safety, the following demonstrations, displays, and activities will be available to the public: University of Delaware’s Bicycle Safety Program, “Kick Butts” Anti-Smoking Campaign provided by American Lung Association, Millsboro Fire Company’s Fire Safety House, and McGruff the Crime Dog. Various units from the Delaware State Police, Local Fire Departments and Emergency Medical Services will also be on display. This will provide hands on education for the students.

If you are a parent make sure you accompany your child to these "outings" where they promote public safety just to make sure there is no LIBERAL bias or propaganda being force fed to your children.
I certainly hope there is an anti homosexual contingent there making sure children know and understand the horrors of this perverted proclivity. For public safety of course.
