Palace officials announced Monday that Prince William and Kate are expecting their first child.
"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby," the announcement said. "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news."
The announcement added that Kate was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in London on Monday with a severe form of morning sickness. William is at his wife's side. The palace said that since the pregnancy is in its "very early stages," the 30-year-old duchess is expected to stay in the hospital for several days and will require a period of rest afterward.

wow, she is gorgeous. i'd love to be the daddy.
Bet she dosen't have to wait around to get seen in the hospital like ordinary citizens do under socialized medicine. She is royalty - kind of like our congress and federal workers.
