JUSTICE SOTOMAYOR DENIES HOBBY LOBBY REQUEST ON HHS MANDATE

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor has denied Hobby Lobby’s emergency application to be exempted from the HHS Mandate on abortion services, but that should not be considered a sign that the HHS Mandate will survive its legal challenges in the end.

The war on religious liberty continues. Despite repeated promises from President Barack Obama and his allies that they would not use Obamacare to force people to violate their religious beliefs regarding abortion, Obama handpicked an abortion-hardliner as secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Kathleen Sebelius.

They should close shop.

I agree. While it's almost unthinkable to wish for a failing economy with high unemployment numbers the fact remains that NObama's campaign of 'blaming republicans' at every turn needs to be countered in some way.

That way might only be the reality of his policies being installed and WE The People having to endure them for awhile.

Frankly I see no other way.

What did you expect? Hobby Lobby has always been good to their employees. To gain employment with Hobby Lobby you do not have to believe in God. It is the owners choice to close on Sunday. Yet, If you are a Muslim, you are exempt. Folks, we have a giant problem here.

Funny how liberals want to ban the guns to save the children, but the killing of a fetus is justified.

Yes. Lets shut down a prosperous business and unemploy hundreds of workers just to prove Obama wrong?

first of all the hobby lobby issue is about politics and nothing more. the owner of the company needs to keep his religion to himself case closed.

3:37- the owner of the company has every right to his beliefs under the US Constitution, and to conduct his business according to those beliefs.
Maybe it's the anti-Christian bigots who need to keep their religion (or lack of it) to themselves.

All the owner has to do is make all employees part time then he wont have to offer health insurance. Not a great option but it will keep them working. Its what many companies have been doing. Sears and Home depot come to mind.
