23 cents a gallon in columbia, md. in the late 60's, as several service stations were trying to undercut the other.

.27 cents a gallon but since they IDLE Class voted Obama back in you will see this peak to $6.00-$8.00 a gallon by next year.

14.9 cents/gallon during a gas war in 1970; usually sold then in narrow range of 21.9 -23.9 cents/gallon.

Minimum wage then was $1.65, IIRC.
