Husband of Culpeper Woman Shot in February Found Dead in Home

The husband of a Culpeper woman shot and killed during a traffic stop in February was found dead in his home Tuesday morning.

Workers conducting routine maintenance at the 1000 block of Friendship Way apartment in Culpeper found Gary D. Cook, 62, dead around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. Culpeper County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the apartment.

In a release, the Virginia State Police said said foul play doesn't appear to be a factor, but the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation Culpeper Field Office was contacted to investigate.

He had a multi million dollar lawsuit filed, but realized that was not going to replace his love nor his future happiness. God bless this man. He knew real wealth, and it was taken away.
Rest in peace, sir. You knew love.

VSP said foul play doesn't appear to be a factor. Smells like fish to me.

Hmmmmmm....the POLICE killed his wife (and it was a MURDER) and he was suing them. Perhaps there were some embarrassing facts the police REALLY didn't want to come out. THAT is called "motive". I'm betting the POLICE won't find a thing and the good ole boy network will sweep the whole thing under the rug. A citizen is murdered. We KNOW who murdered her. What has happened, so far, to the murderer?
