Red Cross Urgently Needs Spanish-Speaking Volunteers
If you speak Spanish, The Red Cross of the Chesapeake Region urgently seeks your help.
The Red Cross categorized its need for Spanish-speaking volunteers to help victims of disasters as "dire."
The relief agency said Friday it currently has two fluent Spanish-speaking volunteers for its region covering Baltimore City and 13 of Maryland's 23 counties.

No, they need to tell illegals that when they learn english they can come back for assistance.

While living in your black/white world of "Spanish-speaking = illegal," may feel comforting and help sooth your nerves that have been irritated by the near-constant transition from white Americans from their majority status to a rapid-shrinking minority, the fact is many legal immigrants and US citizens do not speak English well. Face it, it's a tough language to learn for native-born and foreign-born alike!

english language is so back-asswards, doesnt surprise me that its hard for other people to learn.
especially when they dont have the money to learn the language in Mexico.. so they learn it once they get the money and actually live around english speaking citizens..

Don't do anything for the Red Cross! The employees are unionized (branch of the Teamsters) and just now the blood drive workers ended a 4 month strike in Ohio.
first off We need those illegals as long as they are working and paying ssi. Who else is gonna pay for my retirement. I just wonder when the whites end up as the minority are we gonna get all those special deals and programs all the other groups now cry for?
And lastly whether it be art literature medicine science humanities? I don't see to many of those brown countries offering much to our world! Please tell me the last great idea or invention that came out of africa or central / south america!
