On A Positive Note?

Citizens of Salisbury can start to relax when it comes to their gas points at Giant and the controversial numbers at Shell Gas Stations.

Remember the old Sheila's Party World location on Rt. 13 across the street from Giant. Well, Giant is actually going to build a new gas station at that location. Yes, you heard it here first on Salisbury News.

Now let's see how willing and cooperative the City and County are going to be on this one.

Costco gas prices save me about .20-.25 cents per gallon.

They are going to tear down Waverly Plaza to put in a gas station? No offense, but that is dumb!

Another gas station? or McDonalds? or whatever, there are so many vacant stores in Salisbury and more being built, something is wrong somewhere. Another pharmacy I hear less than a mile from a vacant one and another almost across the street from that one. I guess we haven't reached the saturation point yet???? Great planning!!!!

Wait till Gian runs in to the O'Mally and EPA red tape graft and corruption.
That gas station will be in legal battles for 10 years.
If ngiant wanted to erect a 500' wind tower, it would be approved tomorrow.

That rumor has been going on for several weeks.

are you sure Joe? because the city of sby isn't a business friendly kinda place...

Doubt this is true, but even if it is, cooperation to build a gas station goes far beyond the state and local governments. Federal EPA and their regulations are also involved.
