A 14-year-old boy shot and nearly killed an intruder who broke into
his Phoenix home and pulled a gun on him while he was watching his three
younger siblings, police said Saturday.
The teen and his siblings, ages 8, 10 and 12, were at home alone when
a woman rang the doorbell on Friday. A common enough occurrence, the
boy still chose not to open the door because he didn’t recognize the
woman.
Quickly escalating into a far more dangerous situation, the
14-year-old rushed his siblings upstairs after he heard a loud bang on
the door, grabbing his father’s handgun on the way.

Good for him. Problem is if the kid is white and the intruder is black you will never see it on MSM. That is unless Al or Jessie get involved.

He did what EVERYONE should do in a similar situation.
Only problem is the perp lived. His father should take the boy for some target practice practice.
Shoot to kill people or don't shoot at all. If they live, they can return.
this is exactly as it should be. America's problem is that we're all taught that guns are bad. WRONG stupid people with guns are bad. Kids need to be taught the proper use of weapons including but not limited to firearms. Knowledge of proper self defense is becoming more and more necessary in these times. i for one am proud of the kid. regardless of what race he is. Thats another thing. Why are people so caught up with white, black latino, etc.?? we all breathe the same way, we all bleed the same way. Narrow minded thinkers are an embarrassment and a step backwards for humanity. But back to the topic....GREAT JOB KID
