Wicomico County Education Association Holding Press Conference

The Wicomico County Education Association is holding a Press Conference to a "limited group of media" we've been told. Although we were not invited to attend the President Dave White did inform me that they would e-mail the information after the Press Conference.

We were told this was absolutely not a Board of Education event and not open to the public. It must be one of those "play nice" groups like Mayor Ireton expects from the Media.

Once we receive what is supposed to be a heated meeting press release we'll be certain to publish the information. In the mean time if you'd like to learn more about the Wicomico County Education Association, GO HERE.

I am sure they spread the manure deep. People need to show up at the council's public hearing and ask the council for deeper cuts for the BOE. Not sure they can do it because of Annapolis but we should attempt it regardless.

I am so tired of hearing its for the children...Well if you would put our kids first instead of anchor babies and fat cat BOE salaries,,maybe our kids would get 90 cents of our dollar compared to the 5 cents they get now..Its all sucked up by repaet after me ...anchor babies ..fat cat BOE salaries, retirement plans , unions, fed meddling..wasteful stupid politicians..All for a generation of brainwashed liberal suck-ups. Unless of course your dad worked for a living or did not hop a fence to get here..

Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.

Give us the child for 8 years and it will be a Bolshevik forever.

As I subbed at a school today, I heard that it is a good possibility that the teachers will be getting a raise next year.

Teachers were offered a 1% raise plus years of service bump. Sounds similar to the deal that Worcester County got.

Good for them. After what I dealt with today, they deserve every penny.

I used to work in the school system. From choices program to the salaries these specialists get is a waste of money. It is time there is an elected board that the people pick. I have an idea how to fix the broken system ... Bulldoze it...get rid of stale administration and bring back basic core vales like respect to others
