“America’s Cities and Countryside” Program

Willards Elementary first-grade students will present “America’s Cities and Countryside” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19 in the Willards Elementary auditorium. Admission is free. As a part of our Arts Integration, all of the students at Willards Elementary have been studying the United States through the various art forms. The 1st grade has focused on the Mid-West and New-England regions of the United States with particular interest in the cities and countryside found in that region. Their Spring Program is based on “The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse” and will include city and country soundscapes, dances, songs, drama, and scenery production. There will also be a 1:30 p.m. presentation for the school. 410-677-5819
The annual Unified Bocce County Championship will take place from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19 at Wicomico County Stadium. All four high schools will be competing for the county championship using their best bocce skills and strategy and teamwork.
