WASHINGTON (AP) - The college class of 2012 is in for a rude welcome to the world of work.
A weak labor market already has left half of young college graduates
either jobless or underemployed in positions that don't fully use their
skills and knowledge.
Young adults with bachelor's degrees are increasingly scraping by in
lower-wage jobs _ waiter or waitress, bartender, retail clerk or
receptionist, for example _ and that's confounding their hopes a degree
would pay off despite higher tuition and mounting student loans.

Don't colleges have a job locating service?If not,why do they continue to graduate students who have little or no chance of finding a job? I had to be hired by a law enforcement agency before ESCJA would accept me as a student.
After opening the article and seeing the pic of that dude, it's no suprise. How do you expect to get a job with metal bugars hanging out of your nose?
I agree, I have no interest as an employer to hire someone that is not presentable to the public. These kid/adults have no idea what work is or how to get it, tattoos all over themselves, the percings, the dress they wear. I had one guy come in to interview for a job, and right in the middle of the interview his cell phone rang and yes he answered it! Needed less to say he didn't get hired
