That is alcohol abuse, waste of good vodka.
I use cheap vodka instead of expensive "edible" antifreeze to winterize the water lines in my boat. Makes for a hell of a good time using the water on the first trip in the spring.
A bunch of Grade B vanilla beans and a half gal of vodka for four months and you've got some killer (and cheap) vanilla extract for baking. You only get a teaspoon at a time though.
