Is the existing Salisbury Fireboat on its way??? If not, why not, and why are we needing a second one?

I heard they found nothing, and whats this about the CG not responding related to weather, puhleeze, thats all the CG is trained to do and the weather wasnt THAT bad, something (for lack of better words) smells fishy to me

10:07 PM the U.S.S. Hoppes is on it's way from Canada with lights and sirens activated.

Anon 11:18 you should not write stuff like that! I was drinking a Coke when I read it and I laughed so hard it spurted out of my nose and all over the keyboard and monitor, probably ruining them forever. You owe me for new equipment!

I wonder if it was an ultra light being no planes are missing.

Ultra-lights don't fly after dark. They have no electrical system, hence, no lights. And they would make a VERY small splash if they hit the water.

That coast guard did respond with two boats and spent over 14 hours worth of search efforts. What couldn't respond was a coast guard helicopter and they wouldn't fly due to weather.
