What's Killing America? U.S. Ranks 28th In Life Expectancy (lower than Chile and Greece) While It Pays The MOST For Health Care

A new survey on health care is revealing that you may not be getting what you pay for if you check into a U.S. hospital.
The U.S. healthcare system is more effective at delivering high costs than quality care than other developed nations, according to the study, conducted by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, or OECD.
It found first-rate treatment for cancer but insufficient primary care for other ailments.

We have the best health care in the world it must be the stress of the economy or obesity. Whatever the cause Obama care will increase the mortality rate.

Americans are the largest consumers of prescription drugs. We take some kind of drug for every little pain. Kids take drugs, their parents take multiple drugs and the grandparents take even more. Our doctors and society have made it fashionably for drugs to be part of our daily life. Without knowing the consequence of the interaction of the different drugs. I know some of you are saying the doctor knows what reactions happen when you take multiple drugs but I disagree. Every human body is different and how a body reacts to a drug could be ever so slightly then add one, two or 10 additional drugs and the combination of all of these may be masking whatever ailments you have but could be affecting the overall health of the person with no visible signs.

We as a society need to take care of ourselves by eating better, doing frequent exercise and only taking medication as a temporary fix while we get the condition under control.

11:57 said it. The FDA approves drugs before the side effects are known. It's the same with the food we eat; the consequences of the hormones being added to our food are not to be known probably until the effects reach generations down the ladder.
