Looks like Salisbury attorney K. Burnett was once part of this malicious bunch.
And our Community Foundation is funding their anti-property rights crusade against the Hudsons.
I am absolutely appalled that the Community Foundation is funding any organization or program that is involved in this! The Perdue family made the Community Foundation Kresge match happen which benefitted this community's nonprofits with multi-millions in endowment funding. Jan Perdue was also on the Community Foundation board for years during its start up. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you! Spicer Bell & Jim Almand, your board should be ashamed!
Did I see the name Jim Rapp on there? Is this the same one who was ejected from the zoo?
I'm sure just about everyone wants clean water probably including the Hudson's. I've agreed with ACT and Waterkeepers on occasion but what I don't agree with is a lawsuit against our/their own neighbor.
Why couldn't this have been worked out another less costly way? And a more civil way than trying to make demons out of the Hudson's through the media?
I disagree with the plaintiff's goal of attempting to make an example out of the Hudsons and that is all they are trying to do.
If in fact there is a problem with polluted ditches then attempt to correct that in a more civil way and quite possibly more people would get on board.
Hard line strong arm tactics turns people against a cause.
But once again,if it was'nt posted on the Sby news, you would'nt know what's going on!I'm surprised there's not more outrage on this issue especially from property owners!
