I believe that when weighing everything in consideration certainly experience and the kind of person they are should also be taken into account especially if you personally know that person to be a good Christian should help with your decision. A prime example of this for myself was when Sam Vincent was running against Davis Ruark--- a point well taken with todays news!
No. Christian, jew, atheist it doesn't matter to me. Not to concerned about pro life or not either. WE need a leader that will allow the economy to grow and create jobs.
This question should be a yes or no answer, but I find it more difficult. I am a passionate fiscal conservative and a social libral. I am dismayed by the state of this nation and feel we need to return to the Constitution and the values of the founding fathers. It amazes me at their wisdom; and how far away we have strayed. I am disgusted by the amount of foreign aid we disburse when our own nation is in such economic stress...and the administration wants us to give more. Fiscally, I feel the gov't should just start over; combine all the buckets of money (domestic & foreign) and THEN make a responsibile budget just like the rest of Americans have to do. I feel a persons private life is their own, and they are best suited to make the decisions on lifestyle. I know our "assistance to the people" is being abused; and as such the people really in need (infirm and truly unable to work) do not receive what would be known as a fair share (charity should be for those in need). If you choose to not work, have babies that's fine; BUT just not on my dime! On the topic of pro-choice or pro-life I feel the pro-choice option permits an choice of pro-life; however pro-life does NOT permit a woman any choice. I guess I believe someone who does not believe in God can successfully lead this country where most Americans want to go. Someone with no moral compass, and no alignment with how America was built can't do that. Having said, I guess my answer is "yes". Gee, thanks for letting me figure this out, at least for me.
I would'nt vote for an atheist.I'm in no position to determine which religion is the perfect one.As long as they believe in a supreme being and have the sense to get us out of this mess they'll have my vote.
well when a supreme being comes to earth and runs for office I will give faith some consideration until then as long as its flawed mortals I could care less what their superstition is

If it sways your life it certainly sway your vote.
Is this a veild reference at the Mormonism of certain GOP candidates?
As long as the religion doesn't drive people to fly planes into buildings, then I don't think it should sway me.
These side issues are don't matter but what does is getting rid of the failure in Chief.
Not really. I think that the candidate's positions on the issues should be what determines my vote, not which church he or she attends.
Pro Life is the only thing that matters in my opinion. If you're pro choice you won't get my vote.

No.
I am a person of faith, but we are not a theocracy. I'm old enough to remember the attacks on Kennedy for being Catholic.
Yes. You vote any way you want. But, my vote won't go to anyone who doesn't profess to be a born again Christian. Sorry, obamsuma.
Oops! I am slf @ 5:26 and meant to say "Iguess someone who does not believe in God CANNOT successfully lead..."
I put my faith in God and noone else. Man will dominate man to his own injury. People put faith in mortals too much.
I forgot to say this yesterday:
We have an admitted muslim for president , need I say more?
So, having said that , the answer is YES , look what the muslims have done to their countries , always at war.
Only if the bastard is a Muslim!
yes
