Coalition Of Protesters March D.C. Streets

Protesters who camped out on Pennsylvania Avenue were joined by labor unions, veterans, and a panoply of other causes in another day of demonstrations around the nation's capital.

A mix of political and social action groups are taking part in Friday's demonstrations.

An anti-war group left Freedom Plaza mid-morning and headed up 15th Street to the White House. Thus far protests have been peaceful - officers have blocked roadways for the marchers, but made no arrests. Once the anti-war protesters arrived in front of the White House, the group chanted and played drums, before moving on to the World Bank.

I don't know who's more stupid. The left wing wet pants liberals trying to convince America that these people don't even know why they're protesting or the leftist media outlets trying to convince Americans there's no meaning to these protests. Of course they don't want to talk about why they're there or just how they are providing bathrooms for every one. Do tell me the last time you saw another human being taking a dump in the streets. Do tell me why there are so many tent cities and homeless in America today. Oh, I guess THEY don't know why they are there either. The ONLY reason you don't see soup kitchen lines TODAY like we saw in the former great depression is because Obama is handing out Food Stamps like candy at Holloween. Just try checking out at your local WalMart and you'll see what I'm saying.

We do know that Soro's is behind funding of the protest that say's a lot about why they are there.

I'm reasonably sure the long soup kitchen lines will be making a comeback. I'm afraid my children or grandchildren may be standing in them at some point.

It makes no sense to march on corporate America when it's government policies that are the problem. Corporate America built the middle class attacking them is attacking the middle class.

Anonymous said...

actually 10:16, the American middle class was built at a time where we had higher taxes, more protectionists trade laws, AND heavy-handed unions. Not saying that I am for any of these policies, just saying that your statement doesn't jive with the facts. Back to the drawing board.

The government bails out the people that they are protesting against. DUH , WE have a crooked government , crooked investment firms , crooked banking industry , crooked Federal reserve , crooked president , well now , need I say more.

Anonymous said...

Throw some facts out there Like when do you think the middle class was built and lets talk about your BS tax statement...oops got busted back to the democrat talking points.

Liberals always point to the 50's for their tax argument but leave out the facts. The 1950s were unique in economic history. The US had the advantages of cheap capital, cheap energy, relatively cheap labour and the only intact advanced manufacturing base in the world. The US economy would have flourished in that decade NO MATTER what the tax rates were.
These 4 happy conditions no longer exist. The moral evil of confiscatory tax rates aside, low marginal tax rates are now utterly necessary (as well as a number of other things) for the US economy to resume flourishing.

Insofar as your leftist acquaintances are working, whether they admit it or not, for the destruction of the US, they will perforce also support higher marginal tax rates.

In 1952 U.S. Steel Corp. alone made more steel than the rest of the world put together. There was little if any competition, there was pent up demand from WWII, and we were rebuilding Europe and Japan. We had not created a welfare state and the top rates applied to much higher relative incomes IIRC. There is no comparison to today.

Actually 7:26 your facts are a little off. The total tax rate paid by the citizens has steadily increased. Add the federal, state, and local taxes paid and each American is keeping far less than they ever have.
As far as the unions go they certainly did serve a purpose however those days are long gone. The world is flat and no company can pay twice the wages of an oversees competitor and survive.
We did have some industries that we protected however the companies did not flourish and our country paid terrible price.

If soros or anybody else for that matter were bankrolling these protesters they wouldn't have a need to solicit donations or food.

It's been what, a month, and you people still don't have a clue what it is all about.

And one guy still cannot understand that the latino's that were getting paid were from a rent control group, IN D.C.!

Everyone has their right to their opinion but God, come on. At least make an attempt to know what you are talking about.

You are just embarrassing yourselves and don't even know it.

They don't care. They won't let a little thing like facts stand in their way.

Then they wouldn't have anything to talk about.

9:53 The Tides foundation is funding these hippies that has been proven which belongs to Soro's...Idiot!

At least people are out there taking action, my kids have to grow up in this world when I am dead and gone and when my kids ask me what part I took in all this, I will not be saying, oh I did nothing. We are being taken for fools, footing the bill for a bunch of greedy bankers who keep printing fiot money and going on shopping sprees, who do you think calls the shots at the government level, the bankers ,thats who. If we can't stick together beyond our social status, well than , this world is in for a bumpy ride. They had it right, "United we stand and divided we fall!

debbie said...

The media is ownd by these greedsters also, so they go around and hand pick out of the OWS audience people who are not sure what they are protesting to make it look as if they are unsure but believe me, they know, at least most of them, it is the duty of the fake news to make it seem this way, don't fall into the fake news trap

I went out with a t shirt on and displayed my thoughts on it and I am not being paid by anyone, so some of us are speaking out for real and of we can't put aside our differences, than god help the future generations.

Love is the ultimate power and if you can show love to even those who have wronged you, only than are you truly powerful.

Debbie these people are paid that has been proven if they really were disgusted by corruption and greed they would be marching on 1600 Pennsylvania ave not on our job creators who the majority rely on for employment. What we have here is non tax payers marching on and demanding that the top tax payers pay more... they are selfish lazy bastards like you!

Debbie said...

I am a taxpayer, been one since I was 14 years old and I feel the same way they do, do your research, fellow human, I understand your anger but you are angry at the situation not me.Step outside of the box and knowledge is power.Unity will save this country, not seperation and name calling.

Anonymous said...

And yet you support these paid protesters I don't see anything about unification. These are people who don't pay anything into the system but are demanding more. The fact of the matter is Wall street is operating under the rules of Dodd / Frank if these protesters knew why they were there and were really outraged they would be at the White house!"Step outside of the box and knowledge is power." They make nice bumper stickers but don't mean a lot if you through them around for others to follow but not you.

Debbie said...

Well I can only speak for myself when I say I have always spoke out that knowledge is the only thing that can not be taken for you and I , for one, walk that walk by educating myself. Again you don't know if every protestor out there is a non taxpayer, really in truth, we can only speak for ourselves. I am just glad to see something happening, if some are paid than they have to answer for what they are doing because you get what you put out, that is a universal law, but I believe that there are others who truly are standing up for whats right in America, I support those individuals, we can all nonviolently stand up for whats right and should.

Anonymous said...

I understand that violence is starting to break out, Personally I can see through the smoke screen of George Soro's I do believe that there are differing reasons for these people protesting we know this by the interviews most of which couldn't give a reason the rest just said greed which is code for I want your money. It's nothing more then a distraction from Obama's failed policies.

Debbie said...

For me, it goes beyond failed policies, the enslavement of humanity has been going on for centuries and we are about to witness the end of it. we may not agree on many things and that is ok, we are supposed to be different but I know this, it is a historical time to be alive.

If you think you're a slave in this country you certainly haven't been anywhere else. If these Marxist succeed we are all slaves and little freedoms like blogging will be a thing of the past, Hell they're already trying to regulate speech on the internet but I guess that's alright with you.

depriving anyone of any type of freedoms is never alright with me,have a good night.
