We are not far from the end folks. We can't take much more political correctness.
This picture was taken at the AZ state capitol. This photo was taken at a rally at the state capitol yesterday.
The news will not show it and the Capitol Police and Homeland Security would not let Americans or any of the Veterans that were there do anything about it.
My husband and his friends were threatened to be arrested and were told they would be booked under federal charges if they did anything.
I am sending this to you so that you in turn can start Emailing it to everyone on your list. It is totally uncalled for and people need to see it. This is not about politics and rhetoric, it is about a direct threat to our country.
Those of you that don't live in Arizona will maybe get a chance to see the other side of what the news is telling you. If this offends you greatly, then I have truly accomplished what I set out to do. I understand that sometimes we don't see eye to eye on certain things, but that is the right our forefathers fought for.
I am an American before I am anything else. For those of you who choose to dismiss this: If you believe that this is okay I believe you are a traitor to this country and everything it stands for. I am not a racist and I am not a Nazi, this has nothing to do with race, it has to do with respect to the country that is continually taking you in and turning a blind eye to your agenda.
Homeland Security was designed to identify and defend America from Terrorist acts yet yesterday it let illegal and legal citizens of this country desecrate the Flag. People were spitting on it, stomping on it and burning it with cigarettes.
One soldier who had just returned from Iraq tried to grab the flag and was thrown to the ground by the Capitol Police and Homeland Security.
It amazes me how many people will stand against the American People while all the while prospering from our system and our government.

Whether you like it or not, descerating the flag is not illegal. Outrageous? Yes. Insulting? Yes. Illegal? No. Is it a terrorist act? Not at all.
As with all of these types of spam messsages, you can assume that most of the events described may or may not have happened (the part about the soldier seems perticularly dubious, and added just to make the events "even worse.") Plus, who was implying the author was a Nazi? How does that fit in to the hyperbole?
Do I like it when people burn and do other things to the Flag? No. But I will defend their right to do so.
Who is the traitor to this country: the person who wants to eliminate the rights of others to fit their personal view of what they want the world to be, OR the one who understands that being an American is hard work, and that defending the freedoms and rights of others (whether you like them or not) is as important as defending your own?
Where are the people who need to kick their A$$'s?
These internet things about God and patriotism are usually a little truth mixed with a lot of hysteria. Unfortunately people will believe them without even questioning. That makes it funny that the "author" says he's not a Nazi because this is the kind of propaganda Hitler used to stir the masses.
Didn't flag desecration used to be illegal? Maybe I was just taught that it was wrong enough to be illegal.
Yea I am sorry Dan, but America was not founded so that others may come to our country and disrepect us like this. If we were to do this in most any other country ever person at that rally would have either been locked up or killed. I am positive our forefathers did not have this scenario in mind when they were speaking about civil rights and libertites since they would have been fighting to protect the same flag that is being desecrated in this photo. If you will defend this, then buy all means see your way out because it is plain unAmerican to burn the flag.

You see the person whose actual job it is to defend this country was thrown to the ground because he was trying to defend the honor of America. So you spouting off about defending the right to do so has no merit, since I am assuming you are not a solider or you would not be speaking in this manner. The person whose actual job is to defend the country was astonished by what he saw, so no one really cares that you will fight to defend thier right to burn/sput/write/paint/stomp on our flag, because Mexico is only one boarder away my friend.
This story sounded so ludicrous I went to SNOPES, my Bible for internet rumors, only to find out it is true.
FROM SNOPES
Claim: Photographs show activists displaying defaced U.S. and Arizona flags during a protest over an Arizona immigration law.
TRUE
If anyone has any doubts about what these illegals think of us and our country, check out these pictures taken by an acquaintance of mine who went to the rally in Phoenix Saturday 7/31/10 in response to SB 1070. The illegals had written all over the AZ and US Flags, laid them on the ground, and were walking on them!
Notice the toilet paper in one
Another acquaintance had this to say:
"I shared those pics with my Best friend who is a cop/detective. I asked him why nobody was punished for desecrating our flags...his response.....
In response to your question about the legality of Desecration of the American Flag, you are correct, this is illegal. However, it is a crime with the Federal Government. Meaning the Feds will have to prosecute for the crime and considering they will not prosecute for illegal trespassing into the Country, what makes you think they will prosecute anyone for spray painting and walking on an American flag?????"
I don't know about you people, but I'm outraged over all of this! Judge Bolton did nothing but to empower the illegals and their bleeding heart liberal supporters! When is enough going to be enough?!!!!!
I have permission from the person that took these pictures to pass them around. They're being sent to some news stations as well, although I doubt they'll air them. So please pass these around to all those you know, let people see how the illegals who broke our laws by coming here really feel about us!
Don't just complain: ACT! I have ceased to do business with foreign owned or operated corner stores and gas stations. I realize that all of these people are not illegals, are not Islamic, and are not terrorist sympathizers but as we have seen in Europe, they give cover to the ones who are. Find out which gas stations and corner stores are owned by American natives (both Indians and non-Indians) and buy there. Failing that, buy Marathon, Shell, or BP.
Do not be afraid to ask, look, or notice if your restaurant or hotel is using illegals. Don't go there anymore if they do. When someone is jabbering in Spanish behind you at Walmart, turn around and say, 'Excuse me?"
Yeah, be a jerk. It's only our country we are losing. - David Hearne
Again, the actions of the protesters was NOT illegal.
I do not know if further research would determine more facts, but the protest was going on in front of a Government building. If so, then the protesters probably needed some sort of permit for their protest. As a result they are protected, by law, to protest how they see fit (they may have even had to describe the manner of their protest in their permit.)
The soldier, in a legal sense, was disrupting a legally organized protest, and he was acting out of line and not in accordance with the law. This may be unjust. This may be immoral to some. This may be insulting to others, but the PROTESTERS had the legal right to do what they were doing. The cops were protecting the rights of the protesters. That was their job that day.
Similar to when the KKK petitions to have a parade in any small town. No one thinks a KKK parade in the middle of a town is a great idea. But if they follow the rules and do what they are allowed to by law, they are protected to do and say what they want. If you, as an outraged, concerned citizen, decide to gang-tackle some of the members of the Klan during the parade, YOU are the one going to jail, not the Klan.
Being an American means dealing with stuff you do not like. It is not easy, it does not always make you feel great, but it is what makes us what we are. That is kinda what freedom is.
Defending a symbol of that freedom at the expense of others exercising their freedoms does not show patriotism. It shows selfishness.
Am I a soldier? No. My grandfather served, but that give me one idea of what serving the country is like. I honor all the servicemen and women for all they do and have done. And I recognize that their sacrifice makes it possible for me to have the freedoms I do, and for you to have the freedom to insult me all you want.
Dan = Dumb A$$ Numnutz
You are a liberal moron and part of the reason this country is in the shape it is in. You should be outraged instead of defending THEIR "Rights!"
Dan:
It is people like yourself who are ruining this country. You have no idea what it is like to serve and protect this great nation because you obviously do not have the same morals and balls that your Grandfather does/did, so do not sit here and think that you have the right to speak of such things that you "think" you understand because of your grandfather. My family has been located on the Eastern Shore since the early 1700's and a large portion of us have served and even shed blood for this country. Here is 50 cents for some vaseline now get back in the closet!
Violence is all these people will understand.
not many real americans left in AZ.
dan, why don't you just stfu and go eat an oreo or something. let the grown ups talk.
and take david hearne with you. you're both a pita.
Why do we Americans allow and encourage our young children to join the military and fight for the thugs WHO ALLOW THIS? The Homeland Security are the government. They government is allowing our borders to go unprotected.
Why do we fight foreign wars of aggression for these people? What is wrong with US?

>Look, Admiral, you are way off base with your remark. Dan simply stated what the law of the land IS. He didn't make the damn law. He went so far as to say he does not like flag burning. He said he would support the first amendment though and allow it to occur. To me that makes him a better American than you. You would stifle our freedom of speech. When we start going down that road you know where it leads. You guys are all for small government right? Well what happens when we gradually phase out our freedom of speech because of things we personally find objectionable? The people are supposed to be able to take the government to task! You like your guns right? I do. Well those guns are the second line of defense when words/protests fail. This is the way the country was founded. Your comment about the man's grandfather is uninformed and your gay reference is an insult to the homosexual troops who have fought with honor for your country. You are a shameful person.
All Dan did was state a simple fact. Don't get mad at him, get mad at Texas v. Johnson, U.S. v. Eichman, and the First Amendment while you're at it! On June 22, 2005, a Flag Desecration Amendment was passed by the House with the needed two-thirds majority.
We need full use of our first amendment rights to avoid use of the second! When we need to enforce our first amendment rights after they have been trampled upon then thats what the second amendment is for. Its all about keeping government in check. I'm not giving away ANY of my free speech rights! Even ones I will NEVER use!
