After a marathon 2½ hours of sometimes acrimonious debate and a dozen failed amendments, the House of Delegates Thursday afternoon gave preliminary approval to a bill giving illegal immigrants in-state tuition at community colleges and state universities. The bill, which passed the Senate on a close vote three weeks ago, allows young illegal immigrants who graduated from Maryland high schools to get tuition at in-state rates.

Insane, if they are illegal and we know it why are they not at least deported if not jailed? We are broke and still our elected representitives are wasting our money on this crap. Wake up people, it's time for action.

Future voters for job security. As long as Maryland keeps electing democrats they will just keep giving the handouts. If you feed a stray cat it will keep coming back and we all know how stray cats multiply.
Are we powerless? How can we stand by and let this happen?
